MINNEAPOLIS — The Polaris "Way Out Tour," which stopped June 15 at Cross Lake, Minn., continues its swing across the country. At each tour stop, all 2001 Polaris personal watercraft models will be available for demon rides.

"The early stops on the 2001 Way Out Tour have been a blast for everyone, from the participants riding our watercraft to the event staff seeing the smiles on riders' faces as they return to the beach," said Ron Bills, Polaris Watercraft Division general manager. "It's a thrill to see a newcomer receive safety training, then climb aboard and enjoy their first ride on a Polaris watercraft. The experience gives them a hands-on understanding of why we all love the sport so much."

Polaris Way Out Tour events give water sports enthusiasts and watercraft riders of all experience levels the opportunity to take demo rides on Polaris watercraft. At most Tour stops there also are fun activities on the beach and in swimming areas, and T-shirts and Polaris watercraft accessories are on sale. Enthusiasts of all ages are invited to attend Way Out Tour events, but participants must be at least 18 years of age to drive a watercraft.
